Description
- The Levac Vacuum Blood Collection Tubes are manufactured using sterile glass or plastic with a colored rubber stopper creating a vacuum seal inside of the tube, facilitating the drawing of a predetermined volume of liquid
Uses:
- For Glucose determination
- For Erythrocyte electrophoresis, anti-alkali haemoglobin and lactate
- The centrifugation speed of the tube is 3500-4000 R/M
- The centrifugation time is 5 minutes
- These blood collection tubes are UV sterilised
- The cap colour of the tube is Grey
- The Levac blood collection tube is available in the Capacity of 2 ml and in the tube size of 13 X 75 mm
Precautions:
- Recommended storage temperature: 4-25°C
- Invert the tube 8-10 times immediately after drawing the blood
- It is poisonous and should not be used for blood transfusion
- Blood examination is preferred within one hour of the collection as some cellular distortion becomes evident thereafter
- They come in a standard packing of 100 tubes per pack
