- Datt Velkomp is a moderate compression bandage made from 100% cotton
- It is latex-free, washable, non-slippery, and has sealed edges. It comes with clips for retention and has the color of flesh
- It comes in non-sterile packing but can be sterilized by steam or ethylene oxide (ETO)
- Indicated applications include:
- Treatment of varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and chronic vein insufficiency (CVI)
- As a support bandage for sprains and strains
- To retain dressings, splits, and hot/ cold packs
- Prophylaxis (prevention) against sports injuries
