Description
- Datt Velcool consists of 2 bandages - one impregnated bandage (10cm * 5m) and one cohesive bandage (10cm * 2m). The cooling bandage has the color of flesh and the cohesive bandage is blue
- Velcool can be used as part of the R.I.C.E. therapy (rest, ice, compression, and elevation) which is popular for treating soft tissue injuries
- Velcool keeps the area of application cool for 4-6 hours and serves as a compression bandage after that. The cohesive bandage also provides retention to the cooling bandage
- The cooling bandage contains a solution that evaporates on contact with the skin and causes cooling
- The bandages are made from 100% cotton and the cohesive bandage has a latex-free acrylic adhesive
- Velcool is indicated for sprains and strains and is most effective within 24 to 72 hours of the occurrence of the injury
