- The film is waterproof and aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination
- The film has high moisture vapour permeability which helps in the prevention of accumulation of perspiration & other fluids under the dressing
- It has an acrylic adhesive which minimises the risk of skin damage when the film is removed
- The Opsite Flexifix has been designed in a way that allows for easy application of the film to awkward areas of the body and other awkward surfaces such as dressings and tubes
- The film is extensible
- The Unique & novel roll system enables easy application and economical use
- Indicated uses:

◦ Fixation of tubing
◦ Attachment of leg bags, stoma devices
◦ In the reduction of shearing forces on unbroken skin as in the case of pressure sore prophylaxis
