Description
Mapleson Bain circuit is an anaesthesia delivery system, it can also be called as bain anaesthetic circuit or bain breathing circuit as, it connects a patient's airway to the anaesthesia machine. Mapleson Bain Circuit creates a sterile environment in which a patient can breathe in and out. The coaxial bain circuit is modification of a basic T-piece system that was developed to help with waste anaesthetic gas scavenging. It travels through the outer reservoir tube and connects to the endotracheal tube connector as a tube carrying fresh gas.
